NEWSLETTER AUTUMN 06
Jenny Gilmore
In the last newsletter we announced the departure of Jenny Gilmore as
our chair. Jenny made a huge contribution to the running of the
group, despite the limitations imposed by having ME. I would like
to express, on behalf of all our members, our heartfelt thanks to her
for all the work she has done. Fortunately, Jenny is still
involved in the group and has been prevailed on to take on the role of
treasurer.
Whilst I am thanking people let me express also on behalf of the group,
our thanks to Helen for her work on the group’s publicity and to
Paula for serving on the committee.

Change of Venue for ME Group Meetings
For a trial period we are moving our monthly meetings from the Black Swan pub to
The Holmefield Centre, Peel Close (off Holmefield Lane),
Heslington. This is situated near the Fulford Golf Club and the
next 3 meetings will be on:

AGM
Our AGM was held on 10 May 2006, and was unfortunately sparsely
attended. As mentioned above Jenny Gilmore resigned as chair, to
be replaced by Sandra Tomlinson formerly Treasurer, so that Jenny and
Sandra have in effect swapped roles. Other committee members are
Richard Canham (web site), Brian Elmer (newsletter) and Linda Dales.
M.E.S.H. Scarborough M.E. Self Help
Our members in Scarborough have adopted the name MESH. They now
meet at the Clifton Hotel on the third Monday of each month for a
social/discussion from 1 - 2.30pm. The Clifton Hotel is situated
on Queens Parade.
